Katie studied philosophy and history of math and science at St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland.  Her inquiry into the true nature of spirit, form, and matter led her to her calling in healing work.  She studied massage at Garrett College in McHenry, Maryland and CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute based in Palm Springs, Florida.  Katie continues to learn from direct experience and from her mentor Rose Sincevich.  Additionally, Katie studies herbalism under Matthew Wood and brings her knowledge of plant medicine to her professional practice.

Katie has assisted many people over the years, both young and old.  However, throughout her career she has maintained a special focus on pregnancy and infant work, and the unique challenges faced by mothers-to-be and the very youngest among us.   

Katie lives in Cumberland, Maryland with her husband Ted and four children Ike, Ruby, Lily, and Theodora.
